YMCA of Central MA Summer Camp – Best Summer Ever!

Our YMCA campers become part of a neighborhood of friends where potential is nurtured, achievements are celebrated, and exploration is encouraged. Campers will develop skills through a diverse curriculum of traditional camp activities that encourage youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We strive to ensure that campers develop leadership skills and self-esteem, and grow personally through character-building opportunities in a structured, positive environment.

2023 Summer Program Camps

Alden Summer Program, YMCA Central Community Branch, Worcester

Ages: Entering 1st grade to entering 7th grade
Children enjoy their first camp experience through an age appropriate program that includes arts & crafts, group games, songs, and cooking projects. They will also enjoy daily free play, swim and gym under the supervision of our caring and professional staff. One week sessions run Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm from June 20 – August 25, 2023. (Closed on June 19th and July 4).

Alden Summer Program: Weekly Descriptions
$225/week

Alden Teen Fun in the Sun: Grades 6-12 (Ages 12+)
Fun in the Sun is a summer program for youth and teens in grades 6-12 who enjoy being outside, participating in art and crafts, playing in the basketball court, and swimming. Each week will be guided by a theme which will guide art and game activities while we maintain our focus on character development, team building, supporting education, friendship and fun! Youth and teens will enjoy the Central Branch facility and will participate in games in the field at our park, swimming in the pool, crafts indoors and outside and much more! Teen staff will do all they can to ensure fun each day for the teens and will create activities based on their interests.

YMCA Camp Blanchard, Sutton

Ages: Entering 1st grade to entering 8th grade
Camp Blanchard is a traditional outdoor Day Camp with a diverse curriculum of activities that include: Sports, Swimming (including Swimming LESSONS!), Canoeing, Arts & Crafts, Nature Exploration, Teambuilding & Adventure Games, Music, Movement & Drama! Camp themes are guides and by no means a rule for every activity. Staff use the following themes to help come up with fun, engaging activities for our campers. One week sessions run Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm from June 26 – August 25, 2023.
