WPI Pre-Collegiate Outreach Programs offer fun and educational opportunities for rising 9th-12th grade students. Whether your child is interested in day, overnight or virtual programs, WPI offers them all.
Grades 9, 10 & 11 – Launch (Commuter)
Program At a Glance:
1-week, non-credit bearing commuter program. Instruction is from 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday. WPI faculty provide hands-on activities, demos, and discussions. Delve into your STEM topic and connect with peers who share your passion. Use state-of-the-art technology, industry software, and build hands-on laboratory experience. Grades 10, 11 & 12 – Frontiers (Residential)
Program-at-a-Glance
A 2-week in person, non-credit bearing residential program. Students will explore a STEM major with a humanities and arts minor and connect with peers from around the world who share a passion for STEM. Students will engage in college prep workshops and social activities and learn in tandem with peers on the WPI campus.

Grades 11 & 12 – College Credit Jumpstart (Virtual)
College Credit Jumpstart for High Schoolers is a pre-college summer program designed for high school students who are interested in earning college credit and experiencing an academically fulfilling WPI college course. WPI’s five-week online pre-college summer program will allow students to explore STEM curriculum alongside WPI’s world-renowned faculty. Students will have access to WPI tutoring to ensure they are able to receive their college credit.
