Join us for a Crocodile River Music performace at this annual event, Hot Night in the City! July 21, 2023
Crocodile River Music brings the music, art, and culture of Africa to New England and beyond, spreading awareness and inspiring new ways of cultural thinking. Their concerts, workshops, lectures, and other educational programs showcase emerging and established African artists.

Full access to the Handcrafted Shop, which represents over 300 artists from around the country

Past Events:
January 21: Give an Alien a Pinch; 11am-2pm
Working with self-hardening clay you will learn the most basic clay forming technique, pinching! Once you have made a basic body form, you can add arms, legs and details to bring your Alien to life. Made from self-hardening clay your creation will not need firing but you should allow it to rest for 24 hours or more, so the clay may solidify. Aliens will go home with their makers!
February 18: Imperial Lion Dance Team; 2pm-UPDATE: CANCELLED
Dynamic history and rich traditions. Lion dancing is a preservation of art for the Asian Culture. An exciting performance filled with color, costume and acrobatics.
March 18: Origami; 11am – 2pm
Back by popular demand – Let’s have fun with origami! By folding paper, we can transform a flat piece of paper into three-dimensional art. Create animals, hats, boxes, and more! You will be provided with a step-by-step guide and assistance as needed. All materials are included and no experience is necessary.
May 20: Give a Friend a Pinch; 11am-2pm
