Things to Do with Tweens & Teens
One – Boundless Adventures: (Seasonal) A fun outdoor experience for ages 7 – adult. They have obstacle courses available for tree climbers of every skill level, whether you’re a beginner or an adrenaline-addicted climbing pro. Check out their Glow nights on weekends! Open Spring – Fall.

Two – Central Rock Gym: World class indoor rock climbing and fitness facilities. Two Central MA locations. Worcester features bouldering and 40ft. tall rope wall, steep lead wall and plenty of natural light. Framingham features over 6,000 sq. ft. of climbing, 4,000 sq. ft. of fitness and yoga space. They also have climbing clubs for kids 8-18.

Three – Escape Rooms: There are several great escape room options for the whole family in the Central MA area. This is a fun option to involve the whole family. Choose a theme that works for the ages in your group.
Four – Worcester Public Library (Main Branch) Open Maker Innovation Center: Open for ages 12+.The Fletcher Family Innovation Center at the Main Library is a maker space where all community members may enjoy free access to tools and technology to engage in projects, learn new skills, and collaborate hands-on with others through creating and making.
Open Maker Hours are available to valid CW MARS cardholders age 12 or older who complete an orientation and agree to follow the Usage Guidelines and Library’s Patron Behavior Policy. See the hours HERE

Five – Splatter Painting at Brush it Off: A fun way to spend a few hours. Your teen or tween will love this unique way to paint on an 11 x 14 canvas. For ages 7+ only. They also offer pottery and paint workshops. Check out their calendar for drop in hours and classes.

Six – Mini Golf: There are lots of Central MA options for mini golf. Some have glow nights which are popular with older kids. Trombetta’s is open even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Indoors and heated.
Seven – Trail Riding at Cornerstone Ranch in Princeton: Rides are led by experienced trail riders, and Massachusetts licensed riding instructors from Cornerstone Ranch. Riders are treated to an interactive class before heading out for a relaxing ride throughout the Ranch and beyond. Rides are 45 minutes – 1 hour long. Two hour rides are also available! Stay for ice cream!
Eight – Craftlab Westborough
A community makerspace for the curious & crafty in Central Massachusetts. Designed for adults and teens (ages 14+) who want to just make things. Studio admission = all supplies + resources.

Nine – See a Game! No matter the season, there is always a sports game to take in! Central MA has no shortage of exciting sports action. Worcester Railers, WooSox, Worcester Bravehearts, Massachusetts Pirates (played in Worcester), as well as local college games!
