Southwick’s Zoo has some upcoming special events! Event dates and details are subject to change without notice, so please check the Southwick’s Zoo website before heading out.. Southwick’s Zoo remains open on all holidays during the zoo season (April through October).

 

Upcoming Special Events:
  • Giraffe Encounters: Weekends through mid September
  • September 1-December 31: Festival of Illumination! The Festival of Illumination will return for 2022! This years’ theme, “Once Upon a Time”, will showcase the fascinating and forgotten stories of legendary creatures, myths and fairytales through the incredible artistry of custom handmade Chinese lanterns.
  • October 23: Harvest Festival! Celebrate fall at the zoo during their annual Harvest Fest event! This event features local craft vendors, live entertainment, and more!
  • October 29-31: Zoo Boo Weekend!: Join the zoo for family friendly Halloween fun! Children ages 3-12 in costume will receive free general admission. *Children must be accompanied by a paid adult.
