Dance Fitness
The dance fitness program will be utilizing all genres of dance as a foundation to build strength, coordination, and posture to promote fitness and overall health. The genre of dance will rotate on a weekly basis, from Ballet to Jazz, Hip-Hop to Latin, Modern to Lyrical. See here for schedules and pricing.

Lyrical
Lyrical dance is a fusion of ballet and jazz dance techniques. It uses motion to interpret music and express emotion. A lyrical dancer’s movements attempt to show the meaning of the music. See here for schedules and pricing.

Theater Jazz
Original style of “Broadway” jazz, emphasizes the importance of stage performance as well as technique. This is a great class for any student interested in participating in various forms of theatre. See here for schedules and pricing.

Modern
Modern dance focuses on creative self-expression rather than on technical virtuosity. It is a more relaxed, free style of dance in which choreographers use emotions and moods to design their own steps, in contrast to ballet’s structured code of steps. It has a deliberate use of gravity, whereas ballet strives to be light and airy. See here for schedules and pricing.

Contemporary
Contemporary dance draws on modern dance techniques as well as newer philosophies of movement that depart from classical dance techniques by altogether omitting structured form and movement. It usually includes lots of ground contact and most performers perform with bare feet. See here for schedules and pricing.

Mom and Me Creative Movement – Ages 2.5 – 3 yrs.
Dedicated to our youngest students, these classes stress coordination, large motor skill development, musical awareness, spatial awareness, and listening skills. Props, hoops, musical instruments, along with age appropriate activity resources and special music, help engage the students’ attention and imagination. This program has been specifically designed to develop the appropriate skill of the tiny young dancer. A parent or adult is required to assist the child through the class. See here for schedules and pricing.

Ballet
Classical ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. The combination of disciplined movement and mental coordination develops poise, musicality, grace, and self confidence. Technique is taught at the barre and then placed into combinations on the dance floor. Ballet is necessary for the technical development of a dancer. See here for schedules and pricing.

Jazz – Ages 6 and up
Jazz is based on fundamental technique of ballet, modern, and African dance. It is a free style of dance that concentrates on body style, turns, and leaps through the utilization of various dance combinations. Various styles of Jazz have evolved such as lyrical, theatrical, hip hop, and all are included in this class to produce well-rounded dancers. See here for schedules and pricing.

Tap – Ages 6 and up
