Celebrate your child’s birthday in our fun, natural setting at the Wachusett Meadow! We have lots of options to choose from including activities, party supplies, room rentals and more!
Birthday Party Options
Option #1: Self-Guided Fun & Room Rental
$25/hour Mass Audubon members or $35/hour non-members
Enjoy our rustic educational space on your own with folding tables, chairs, sink, public restrooms, deck and access to trails.
Option #2: Guided Hike with a Naturalist
$70/hour
Walk our beautiful sanctuary trails with a knowledgeable naturalist. Search for seasonal highlights, local wildlife, and fun natural features. At least one parent must go along.
Option #3: Guided Hike & Craft
$70/hour
Our naturalist can lead the children in making a nature-themed craft to take home. Crafts usually require 5-30 minutes. Choose from: Insect headbands, animal masks or snake yo-yo’s.
Birthday Party General Information
- Limit 12 Children, but our educational space can accommodate up to 30 people total. Parents of invited guests are always welcome to stay. At least one adult must accompany the children on a nature hike.
- You provide tablecloths, decorations, refreshments, trash removal and clean up.
- Mass Audubon laminates — featuring birds, butterflies, pond creatures, and more — make lasting, educational party favors and are available in our sanctuary gift shop for $5 each.
