The playground behind Thomas Prince School is perfect for elementary age kids. The climbing equipment to get to the main structure platforms is unique and challenging. The slides are steep and fast. It’s a great park for kids outgrowing playgrounds geared toward younger kids. My daughter enjoyed the gymnastics area called “fit core” with balance beams, bars and other equipment for core workouts.
The playground is adjacent to fields, basketball courts and nature trails (bring bug spray). There are great shaded picnic tables for a snack or lunch. The parking lot has traditional painted school yard games and a map of the United States (just as I remember from my own elementary school days).
