Library Spotlight: Forbush Memorial Library in Westminster
Throughout the fall and winter of 2019-2020, WCKC will be highlighting Central MA public libraries to find out all the goods! For each new library we visit, we’ll report back on questions like: What makes this library extra special? What fall and winter programs can you expect? What passes does this library offer?

- Tuesday afternoons at 4:00pm: Read to a Dog Program (Registration recommended)
- Wednesday Mornings at 10:30am: Fall Story Hour October on Oct 23, Halloween Spooktacular on 10/31
- Thursday Mornings at 11:00am: Fall Story Hour through October 24
- Thursday Mornings at 10:15am: Baby and Early Toddler Program through November
- Friday Morning at 10am: Circle Time and Fun with Jana through December

Discounted Museum/Attraction Passes Offered

- Magic Wings Butterfly Pass
Our pass for the Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory & Gardens in South Deerfield, MA is back! The pass is good for adults only. There are many winding paths and places to sit for butterflies to alight nearby. Don’t forget other great attractions in South Deerfield. - Massachusetts State Parks Day Passes
These are day passes that provide free parking for one vehicle at Massachusetts State Parks for the day. Check out the website for a full listing of MassParks locations and recreational activities. - Tower Hill Botanical Gardens
Tower Hill is a comprehensive New England botanic garden in Boylston, MA and is easily accessible from Routes I-495 and I-290. Each pass admits 2 for half price.(Full prices are: Adult: $15, Seniors (65+): $10, Youth (6-18): $5, Children (6 and under): free - The Discovery Museum
This pass admits three people at half price to the Discovery Museum, located in Acton, MA. Regular adult admission $14.50, seniors (60+) $13.50, children over age one, $14.50. Teachers and children under age one are always free! - The Fitchburg Art Museum
This pass is good for free admission for up to two adults or household family members.
This pass is underwritten by a grant from the Westminster Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. - Museum of Russian Icons
The museum is located in Clinton, MA and the pass is good for up to six general admissions. This pass may not be used for special events, programs, or group tours.

This pass is good for free admission for two adults and two children. It is not valid during special events such as the Flora in Winter exhibit.

The Go pass will allow patrons to visit Trustees’ properties for free or reduced admission! For a list of properties covered and details for each location, please visit the Trustees’ website by clicking on “Trustees Go Pass” heading. Please note, these passes are not valid for discounts at parking kiosks, stores, cafes, inns, campgrounds, at special events or programs, on equipment rentals, or in place of any permits or passes.

The USS Constitution Museum is located in the Charlestown Navy Yard. The pass is good for free admission of one party, of 9 or fewer people, per day. The museum, “Collects, preserves, and interprets the stories of `Old Ironsides’ and the people associated with her. The museum offers a variety of engaging activities, exhibits, and programs.” For more information, please visit the museum website.
