New Joy of Music Programs Begin April 8 (Ages 1-7)

The Joy of Music Program (JOMP) is excited to announce their upcoming new classes beginning on Saturday April 8.  Take a look at these great selections and JOMP to it!

Small Group Instrument Classes for 5 – 7 years

New offering! Group Piano, Group Violin, or Group Cello. Up to 6 students learn a new instrument together in these creative, exploratory classes that introduce the first steps to playing success.

Saturdays from 10:15 am – 11:00 am (Group Violin)
Saturdays from 11:15 am – 12 noon (Group Piano)
Saturdays from 11:15 am – 12 noon (Group Cello)

Tot JOMP for 1 – 4 years

Tiny Jompers and caregivers sing, play and create together while being introduced to age-appropriate instruments for musical explorations.

Kinder Meet the Instruments

Little Jompers explore percussion, keyboard, woodwinds, and strings in this 8 week introductory instrumental course for children ages 5 – 6 years.

Joy of Music Program (JOMP) was founded in 1986 by Wendy Webster Ardizzone. Her vision was to create a musical community that reflects the rich diversity of the greater Worcester area. With its core of outstanding faculty of more than 40 musician educators, JOMP draws students, faculty, staff, volunteers, and donors together in a joyful community united by music education and performance. Access informs all JOMP’s programming. With a beautiful facility (a former nursing home), JOMP has created a fully accessible space for all. Additionally, JOMP believes that no determining factor should stand in the way of a gaining a quality music education.
