One of my favorite fall activities is picking apples and enjoying the atmosphere of an apple orchard in New England. Over Labor Day Weekend, I visited Honey Pot Hill Orchards and took a beautiful walk through the orchard, ate some delicious apple cider donuts and drank refreshing apple cider. This orchard located in Stow, MA is hopping with fall activities for the family.
Honey Pot Hill Orchards has a variety of apples for picking. Check their website to see what is available before going. I bought a bag of Gala apples and a quart of fresh peaches for enjoying at home.
There is a small animal area with feed available for purchase to feed the goats, pigs and llamas. It is a really neat set up especially for the goats; my kids will love watching them next time I bring them to the orchard. This orchard also has not just one but THREE mazes for enjoyment. Each has a different ticket and cost associated with it. There is a hay ride to bring you up to the different lots for apple picking as well for a nominal fee.
Parking was available although limited, but there is overflow parking across the street.
I highly recommend visiting this beautiful spot and definitely don’t skip the donuts!
