Private Family Group Farm and Nature Exploration Programs

Take a personalized, private, and safe guided tour into the wonders of nature and farming with your family. A Mass Audubon Naturalist will lead your group on a two-hour exploration of Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary. They will guide you through hands-on investigations of plants and animals.

Choose Your Program:

Morning or Afternoon Farm Chores: We need your help caring for our farm animals! So we will spend a morning or afternoon at the farm where you’ll collect eggs and feed hay to the sheep, goats, cows, and chickens. Afterwards, you’ll spend some quality time hanging out in the pens/pastures with some of our farmyard friends.

Winter Detectives Habitat Hike: Join one of our Teacher Naturalists for a seasonal hike on pathways less travelled, over the drumlin and through the woods. As you search for animal tracks and signs and investigate their New England winter survival strategies, what plants and animals will we find along the way?

Maple Sugaring (Available Feb. 20th-March 20th weather permitting). It’s maple sugaring time! So it’s time to explore the maple grove to check the taps and visit the evaporator to learn how syrup is made.

Rates:

Members: $130 for a family up to 5 people, $10 for additional people up to 10. And non-members: $150 for a family up to 5 people, $12 for additional people up to 10
