EcoTarium New Exhibit: Wild Kratts

“Wild Kratts®: Ocean Adventure!”

This adventurous exhibit – which focuses on cultivating STEM skills in children ages 3 to 9 – invites kids and families to explore animal habitats from around the globe, discover incredible creature powers, and go on a mission to foil the villains’ nefarious plans. “This exhibit will get kids moving and thinking while they explore important concepts in science and the natural world,” said Chris Kratt, executive producer of Wild Kratts and co-founder of The Kratt Brothers Company.

Wild Kratts®: Ocean Adventure!, a brand-new temporary exhibit at the EcoTarium Museum of Science and Nature, immerses the young explorers in your life in whole-body explorations of ocean habitats and the fascinating creatures within them. Using Wild Kratts technology and the powers of science and teamwork, visitors will join the Wild Kratts team to solve problems, help animals, explore age-appropriate science concepts central to marine animals’ lives, and foil the villains’ nefarious plans.

Habitats and activities include experiences such as:
  • “Seashore”: Miniaturize in a tidal pool, crawl through an anemone, and hunt for lunch like a lobster
  • “Shallow Sea”: Create your own dolphin name, roll up your sleeves, and get to work at a shark cleaning station
  • “Deep Sea”: Hunt like a dragonfish in the dark depths of the sea and explore the creatures of the ocean floor
  • This exhibit is recommended for children ages 3 – 9, and includes a “tot spot” specifically for children under three years of age.
