Cook Conservation Area is a local Stroller Friendly Hike
WCKC Hikes: Cook Conservation Area
Cook Conservation Area is 102 acres of land owned by the Town of Lancaster. It offers two miles of public trails. We enjoyed this mostly flat, stroller friendly hiking spot. We met up with family who have a young baby. This spot is perfect for families with young kids.

The trails follow the Nashua River, so there are plenty of spots to take breaks along the banks. The kids enjoyed throwing rocks and sticks into the river and snacking on rocks along the trail. This is a good spot to fish, and there is a canoe launch down the road as well.
Along this hike, there are old mill foundations to explore. Check out their trail map to see where these really neat remnants can be found along the hike and for trail lengths. Be aware that parking is fairly limited at this location.
Also convenient to this location is Kimball Farm. This makes for a perfect afternoon of hiking and then eating delicious ice cream.
