Riverboat Connecticut River Cruises! Enjoy a relaxing hour and a half interpretive cruise on the Connecticut River! The 2023 Heritage Riverboat operating schedule is Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting June 29th and ending October 9th. Departure times are 11:00 AM, 1:15 PM, and 3:00 PM. Cruises depart from our Riverview picnic area dock in Northfield, MA.

The riverboat will not operate on July 4 or Labor Day, but will run on Columbus Day, October 9th.

No Pets. Please do not leave pets unattended.

Northfield Mountain reserves the right to cancel cruises due to high water, weather conditions, mechanical issues, or illness. Full refunds will be given if we cancel your cruise.

Itinerary

Cruises depart from the dock at their Riverview Picnic area at the foot of Ferry Road in Northfield, MA. Typically, cruises head downstream about 5.5 miles to Barton Cove before returning to the Riverview dock. The duration of the cruise is approximately 1.5 hours.

What to bring

Bring your binoculars and cameras. In cooler weather, make sure to bring a warm coat or windbreaker.
