Enjoy Indoor Art Time at Clayground Pottery Studio
We had a great time at Clayground this past weekend while avoiding the cold. Clayground is a pottery painting studio in Worcester, MA. This studio is deceptively small on the outside but it has a great selection of pottery item options inside. Each of the girls chose an item that they were excited about.
We chose a snowman, a rainbow pencil holder, a mini cupcake and a hedgehog. There were mugs, dragons, foxes, piggy banks, gnomes, and many many more options.
As the adult, I poured the paints they chose and the girls got to work. It took about an hour to paint pottery: our medium size items with the recommended three coats of paint. We were the only family there although lots of people came through to pick up fired items or Valentine’s Day orders.
After we painted pottery, the kids picked another item they want to do next time – already planning to come back I guess! We have been to two birthday parties at this location and they were a hit with the eight year old crowd.
We also meandered over to Annie’s Bookshop (in the same shopping plaza) afterwards to pick out a new to us book (used and inexpensive!) for curling up to read by the fire later that day.
