What To Expect

Quinsigamond Youth Theatrical Company’s children’s and youth theater class is a theater WITH music program vs. traditional “musical theater”.

Our collaborative program provides young theatre enthusiasts the opportunity to:

  • Work as part of a team
  • Learn basic stage directions
  • Develop basic skills for off- or on-stage expression and vocal projection
  • Learn to complement expression with music and movement
  • Parts are assigned by the Director, according to student experience and ability.

Not comfortable on-stage? That is OK. We have openings for stage hands and scenery designers.

For this program, we do not schedule make-ups for teacher sickness or bad weather (except for the winter production date) as rehearsals are set around the performance date.
