Worcester Festival of Lights
January 17 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 5:00 pm, repeating until February 28, 2021

Although the traditional Festival of Lights in Worcester has been cancelled this year due to Covid, community leaders, organizations and local businesses have come together for a different version of this tradition.
“We are excited to be able to continue the tradition of Festival of Lights, despite how different this winter will look for us all,” City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr. said. “Our hope is that, in addition to fostering a festive spirit, the Festival of Lights will bring a sense of normalcy to Worcester families, while keeping their safety as a priority.”
Since Night Lights at Tower Hill is cancelled this year, Tower Hill is excited to contribute a rainbow tunnel on the Worcester Common. They took the inspiration of the tower they normally have up and expanded it to twice the original size. It is a 200 ft rainbow tunnel celebrating diversity.
Families are encouraged to drive down to Main South to view additional lights, sculptures and decorations. Occurs nightly at sundown from 12/14 to 2/28/21.
