5/17: Let’s grow some happiness!

Bring your children and join author Wendy O’Leary for fun and engaging activities based on her card deck, Let’s Grow Happiness. Wendy will share a game and creative activity from the deck as we explore ways to nurture happiness. The children will take home a craft they make to remind them of the importance of growing happiness.

About the Deck

Spark happiness with this activity deck for kids featuring 50 research-backed activities that encourage fun, connection, gratitude, mindfulness, self-compassion, and more!

Did you know that feeling happy is something we can easily learn and grow inside ourselves? Research shows that happiness is a learnable skill—and this playful activity deck teaches children tried-and-true tools to develop happiness, emotional literacy, and well-being that will
last a lifetime.

With a wonderful variety of easy-to-use activities and practices, mindfulness educators Wendy O’Leary and Dr. Helen Maffini provide science-backed approaches to encourage joy and contentment—while embracing and validating emotions of all flavors.
