Orchid Sculpting Workshop (Ages 7-12)

Learn about the amazing adaptations of orchids and their pollinators and practice sculpting basics to mold your own lifelike orchid and pollinator pieces. Tour the orchid exhibition and explore the life-size orchid and pollinator sculptures then get introduced to a sculptor’s tools and learn simple techniques to craft your own outstanding orchids. Each child participant will use air-dry clay to sculpt their own unique orchid and pollinator figures.
