Make and Learn at Home: Check out free, open-ended art activities for ages 3-17 from the Fitchburg Art Museum. Some use simple household materials, and some use more specialized art supplies. Visit here to see the projects! And be sure to see the section on tips for creating art with children.

Cloth is Money: Textiles from the Sahel. The show illustrates the complex and timeless value of woven cloth from the Sahel, the southern border of the Sahara, by exploring weaving techniques, designs, and symbols in conjunction with the rich trade history and cultural role of textiles in the region.
