Make a Mess and Decompress! (Outdoor class)
An event every week that begins at 12:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until October 27, 2020
We know how stressful and uncertain this back to school year is for everyone. Now is most certainly the time we all need to allow ourselves to unwind, and process all the emotions that will be bubbling up during these uncertain times. Because of that , we have decided to bring back Make a Mess and Decompress, but this time, outdoors!
Join us every Tuesday (Your choice of 1pm or 3pm) and get your creative juices flowing! Kim and Barbara will be teaming up in this class, combining their specialties of art and wellness.
This class will allow and encourage kids to express their emotions through creativity, and use their bottled up energy from the day in a constructive, soothing, and rewarding way. They will use art to convey ideas, express emotion, use their senses, explore color, and create aesthetically pleasing works and experiences.
A few examples of what we will be doing or using in this class are: sculptures from recycled materials, paper crafts, decoupage, sensory bottles, painting, drawing, hand sewing, beading, nature art, fiber art, mixed media, and much much more!
Each class will also involve learning a mindfulness strategy.
This is a 6 week program, meeting every Tuesday from 1-3pm, OR 4-6pm, beginning September 22, 2020. Ages 6-12. ( We also have this class for ages 12-16 ) Please choose both your desired time slot, and ticket type (6 week program, or individual classes) in drop down menu.
This is an OUTDOOR class, under a tent, with social distancing. Face covering mandatory.
I agree to terms in waiver – By purchasing ticket, you are agreeing to terms in waiver. Please contact us if you would still like to sign up for this class, but have issue with any part of waiver.
