Funky Fungus Day at the EcoTarium

What do pizza, pesticides, and penicillin have in common? We wouldn’t have them without fungi! Join us in taking stalk of the fungus among us, and in tipping our caps to these gilled glories.
On Discovery Days, our regularly scheduled educator-led Science Discovery programs all connect to the day’s exciting theme! You’ll also find bonus drop-in activities for additional hands-on exploration.
Discovery Days are included in the cost of admission.
There is always something new happening both on our grounds and inside the museum building. For maximum fun, take a trip on the Explorer Express train*, experience one of our daily planetarium shows*, or get up close to our resident otters*!
*Train rides, planetarium shows, and otter encounters require a separate ticket and limited spaces are available; not included with admission. Please stop at the Information Desk for specific additional experience schedules.
