The Fruitlands Kite Festival is Back!

Take in the sweeping views from atop the Fruitlands hillside and celebrate our landscape as kites fill the sky. Make your own simple kite at our craft table, bring your own kite to fly, and see the sky fill with colorful floats.

Members of Kites Over New England will be here throughout the afternoon showcasing some high-flying kites. Come check it out!

This year’s festival is presented in conjunction with the current exhibition, “Rachel Hayes: Transcending Space.” Craft activities connect guests to the colorful quilted designs that artist, Rachel Hayes uses in her art. Admission to the Kite Festival includes admission to the Museum and Grounds for the day. Be sure to pay a visit to the Art Gallery and see Rachel Hayes large scale pieces on view!
