Fitness in the Park Summer Series- It’s Free!

The Fitness in the Parks Summer Series is a 12-week program presented by the City of Worcester Department of Health & Human Services and Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA in partnership with the YWCA Central Massachusetts and YMCA of Central Massachusetts. The program runs from June 10 through August 31, Mondays through Saturdays at 8 locations. Classes range from Zumba to sports skills training to HIIT and Yoga, all family-friendly.

The goal of this program is to provide Worcester residents with opportunities to engage in healthy eating, active living, community building and spending the summer becoming a healthier Worcester. We hope to see you there!

No classes on the following holidays: June 19 (Juneteenth), July 4 (Independence Day).

Mondays: 5:30pm at Elm Park – Yoga

Tuesdays: 5:30pm at Elm Park – Meditation and Breath Work

Tuesday: 6:30 at Peace Park – Zumba

Wednesdays: Noon at City Hall Common Oval – HIIT

Wednesdays: 5:30pm at Vernon Hill Park – Tai Chi (150 Vernon St, Worcester)

Thursdays: 7:30am at Lake Ave Park – Awaken and Ignite: Enlivened Drumming and Meditation

Thursdays: 6:30pm at University Park – Dance Craze

Fridays: 7:30am at Vernon Hill Park – Morning Mantra

Fridays:  3pm at Crompton Park – Basketball Drills

Saturdays: Noon at YMCA’s Fuller Family Park – Zumba
