Enter the Toyota Dream Car USA Art Contest!
January 16 @ 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until January 29, 2021
The Toyota Dream Car USA Art Contest is designed to inspire creativity in youth, ages 4-15, and help them imagine the future of mobility. A total of nine U.S. winners will be announced during March 2021: the top three in each of the three age categories (4-7 years old; 8-11 years old; and 12-15 years old). Judging based on three criteria: execution, uniqueness, and artistry of concept. Prizes up to $750 will be awarded.
Each artwork submission consists of a drawing by an eligible youth, accompanied by a completed entry form signed by a parent or legal guardian (multiple submissions accepted, but each drawing must be accompanied by a separate entry form). All artwork submissions are required to be postmarked on a date through January 31, 2021.
Artwork must be an original illustration drawn by youth on paper using paint (watercolors, acrylic, etc.), markers, crayons, and/or colored pencils. The recommended paper size is 11 x 17 inches, but any sizes within 15.7 to 21.7 inches may be used. No digital tools may be used.
Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan held the first worldwide contest in 2004. Nearly 90 countries now participate each year under the same rules but with varying artwork submission periods. 2020 marks the 10th year that this youth art contest has been presented in the United States. The annual contest accepts artwork submitted by parents or legal guardians of children between four (4) and fifteen (15) years of age who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia.
