Chestnut Hill by Moonlight: Pollinators of the Night Guided Hike

June 24 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

You see them every evening and wonder what they are doing. They fly through the night to gather nectar while butterflies sleep. They have scales on their wings and are living examples of evolution. In the United States alone, there are 11,000 species. Moths do a whole lot more than gather around porchlights!

Join us after twilight for an evening celebrating these often-forgotten pollinators and learn about moth diversity at Chestnut Hill Farm. You’ll be amazed at what you see and learn.

This hike is family-friendly.

Your guide will be Tim Puopolo, a Trustees ranger and naturalist, and recipient of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s “Outstanding Park Interpreter” award.

Please note, though we love dogs, they are not permitted at Chestnut Hill Farm.
