Early release school day? Bring your child to the farm for the afternoon! This drop-off program is designed to give you a few more hours of adult time, while your child has an adventure on the farm.
Participants will engage in a fun-filled afternoon with activities such as visiting the farm animals, hiking the trails, creating art projects, and playing games. This enriching experience will teach them about our local ecosystem, seasonal changes in nature, sustainable agricultural practices, and life on a real working farm.
This program is for children who are in kindergarten-5th grade. Though this program is scheduled on early release school afternoons, your child does not have to attend a local school to participate.
Prior to the program, we will send you a drop-off program form where you will provide us with emergency contact information, medical information, etc. Please plan on sending your child in closed-toe shoes and layers of clothing. They will need a water-bottle and a snack for the afternoon.
Please note, while we love dogs, they are not permitted at Chestnut Hill Farm.
