Boston Common Frog Pond Opens for Skating 11/21! The Boston Common Frog Pond, managed by The Skating Club of Boston in partnership with the City of Boston, will open on 11/21 at 10:00 am.

The Boston Common Frog Pond is consistently rated one of the top places for ice skating in the country. Located in the oldest park in the U.S., it is one of the most popular “things to do” in Boston during the winter.

What to expect:
Upcoming Events

Annual Tree Lighting Skating Spectacular: on Thursday, December 1st at 5:00 pm. The free event will be headlined by Olympian Ashley Wagner.  The event features skaters of all levels who train at The Skating Club of Boston. The Boston Common Tree Lighting will follow the Skating Spectacular at 6:00 pm.

Skating Spectacular: Skaters will return to the ice to entertain fans on Saturday, December 31st. Celebrating New Year’s Eve as part of the First Night festivities.
