If your child loves to explore, experiment, and play, a birthday party at the Discovery Museum is the perfect way to mark the occasion.
Party guests can explore the museum as well as Discovery Woods, our outdoor and fully-accessible nature playscape and 550-square foot treehouse! Discovery Woods is open year-round.

What’s Included
- 2 hours and 15 minutes to explore the Museum and Discovery Woods for up to 30 people (a maximum of 18 children; larger groups should consider a private rental)
- 45 minutes in our party room
- A Party Assistant to assist you in the party room
- “Draw on me” table covers and crayons
- Download and print your invitation
Extend Your Time and Add a Party Activity
- Spend an additional 30 minutes in the Party Room
- (Optional) Add an age-appropriate Party Activity, organized by your Party Assistant

- Weekend Party: $350 (nonmembers)/$280 members
- Weekday Afternoon Party: $240 (members and nonmembers)

Let us supply your gift bags! Send your guests home with one of our five themed gift bags or create your own from merchandise available at the Discovery Store.
- Pre-packaged gift bags are priced $4 or $6
- Order two weeks prior to your party to ensure availability
- Museum members receive a 10% discount on all store purchases.
