3rd Annual Downtown Worcester Winter Festival! 2/3

Join family and friends for an afternoon of fun, family-friendly, wintertime activities at the 3rd annual Downtown Worcester Winter Festival, presented by the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District, Bay State Savings Bank, the City of Worcester, and Streetplus.

When: Saturday, February 3: 12 pm – 3 pm.  (Weather Date: 2/17)

Activities

Ice Skating

Lace up a pair of ice skates and take a spin on the Worcester Common Oval rink, brought to you by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Ice Skating Admission: $6/person; free for kids aged 5 and under; Skate Rental: $6/person

Support Woo Fridge
The first 100 Downtown Worcester Winter Festival attendees who donate a canned good or non-perishable food item for Woo Fridge can receive FREE admission for ice skating and a complimentary hot chocolate and cookie courtesy of Brew on the Grid. Just bring your own ice skates or rent a pair at the Oval!

Alpine Slide

Standing at over 25 feet tall with three lanes for sliding, the Alpine Slide will delight kids and kids at heart this winter. This activity is free and open to all during the festival. (Minimum height requirement: 42 inches without an adult)

Ice Sculptures

Watch icy works of art take shape during live ice carving demonstrations. Remember: Ice sculptures only last as long as the weather allows, so don’t miss your chance to see these limited-time installations during the Winter Festival.

Arts & Crafts

Get creative with free, hands-on arts and crafts for the whole family alongside Panduh Productions and Technocopia.

Local Food & More

Meet some of your favorite Worcester team mascots, enjoy a snack from a local food truck or vendor, play custom games created by Technocopia, and more!

Circus Variety Show by Peter Cannizzaro at Francis R. Carroll Plaza in front of The Hanover Theatre | 2 FREE shows starting at 3pm and 3:45pm

ArtsWorcester Gallery Hours from 12pm to 5pm | On Exhibit: Emmanuel Opoku: We Ourselves are Shared (West Gallery), Jeanette Staley: Predators and Pray (Window Gallery), Artist Shoeboxes (East Gallery)

Pride Celebration: A Study In Monochrome Reception from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the JMAC
